GENERAL NOTE: Although the National Coast Trail Association reserves the right to make route, event, and other modifications as necessary to improve the quality of the trip, to accommodate the comfort and well being of the director, and to best carry out its mission as a non-profit and the goals of the Millennium Exploration -- it will make every effort to keep to the schedule of the following itinerary.

Please see the National Coast Trail Association's press release for this date for details.

SPECIAL NOTE TO THE MEDIA:
Since the later afternoon schedule is open this day it could provide an opportunity for the media to make special arrangements to meet "Jed Smith" (Al LePage) and James Auld (writing a biography of Smith) for interviews.
This area is especially scenic and has the potential for a variety of terrains for great visual shots for newpaper or television coverage.
Please contact our office by phone at 503-335-3876 and leave a detailed message the day before so we can contact you about it.
